How Precious are Your Children?

I agree...that's a pretty stupid question. My children, our children, your children are the most precious gift from God. Why would you take a chance on leaving them 8 or more hours a day with someone you do not know, someone that has not been checked out completely? Most people wouldn't, and you shouldn't.

Minimum for starters would be references of other famlies that the person has worked for. You can check these yourself, or we can do it for you. Since you are hiring the person, access to social security information is allowed by law. Social Security Information can reveal and verify previous employers as well as previous addresses. Criminal checks in the counties of previous residence and a check in the state sex offender registry would be a must. A National Criminal Check is also available.

There's not a week that goes by that you do not read in the newspaper or hear on the news a story of child abuse. Don't take a chance on something happening to your children just because you didn't take the time to do the right thing and check out your nanny.
